摘　　要：通过对维多利亚州公共交通领域现有智能交通系统的应用调查,分析其应用特点。根据目前的ITS技术,介绍了自动车辆定位(AVL)和全球定位系统(GPS)在公共交通领域的应用及其工作原理。通过应用分析,表明利用这些技术不仅可以帮助乘客实时获取公交服务信息,提高用户体验,而且可以支持公交公司对公交服务进行监控和管理。The characteristics of the ITS(intelligent transport system)are investigated through the analysis of the practical ITS applications of public transport in Melbourne,Victoria.This paper introduces the application and working principle of automatic vehicle positioning(AVL)and global positioning system(GPS)in public transportation based on the current ITS technology.It reveals that the ITS technology can obtain real-time public transport service information,improve the user experience,and support the public transport companies to monitor and manage public transport service.
