摘 要:18世纪的英国,古典收藏之风大盛。皇宫贵族中这一好古的时尚趣味推动着艺术家们着迷与模仿古典艺术,古希腊罗马艺术被当时的艺术家奉为圭臬。陶瓷界借由这一新古典主义之风,使古希腊罗马艺术在陶瓷设计中再度兴起。英国韦奇伍德陶瓷作为18世纪陶瓷艺术设计领域最高成就的代表,在好古之风盛行时期独领风骚,对古希腊和古罗马艺术做了近乎完美的诠释。本文试图通过对这一古典风格在韦奇伍德三大产品系列中的沿袭与传播展开论述,进一步探讨其工艺、装饰等艺术成就,引发我们从陶瓷设计的角度对新古典主义风格的再认识与思考。In the 18 th century, the style of Britain classical collection flourished. This ancient fashion taste among the nobles in the palace drove artists to be fashioned with and imitate classical art. Ancient Greek and Roman art was regarded as a standard by artists of the time. With the help of this neo-classical style, the ceramics industry has revived ancient Greek and Roman art in ceramic design. As the representative of the highest achievement in the field of ceramic art and design in the 18 th century, Wedgwood Ceramic in the UK led the way in the prevalence of ancient times. Wedgwood made a nearly perfect interpretation of ancient Greek and Roman art. This article discusses the inheritance and dissemination of this classical style in Wedgwood’s three major product series, and further explores its artistic achievements such as craftsmanship and decoration. In this-way, we re-understand and think about the neoclassical style from the perspective of ceramic design.
