摘  要:桂甜糯228是广西壮族自治区农业科学院玉米研究所选育的甜加糯玉米新品种,是以自选糯质自交系518MBC-13为母本、甜糯双隐(wxwxsh2sh2)自交系6珍BCW-2-15为父本选育而成的,2020年通过广西农作物品种审定委员会审定。该品种具有优质的食用品质和优良的商品性质,产量高、抗病性强、适应性广,因其F2果穗糯与甜子粒比例为3∶1,兼顾了糯玉米和甜玉米的风味和南北消费者口味,是当前中国鲜食玉米的重要类型。Guitiannuo 228 is a new sweet waxy corn variety bred by the Maize Research Institute of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences.It was bred by the waxy inbred line 518MBC-13 as female parent and wxwxsh_(2)sh_(2) inbred line 6 ZhenBCW-2-15 as male par⁃ent.It was approved by Guangxi Crop Variety Approval Committee in 2020.The variety has high edible quality and excellent commodi⁃ty properties,high yield,strong disease resistance and wide adaptability.Because the ratio of waxy and sweet kernels of F2 is 3∶1,which takes into account the flavor of waxy corn and sweet corn and the taste of consumers in North and South China,it has become an important type of fresh corn in China.
