摘　　要：小说《拉格泰姆时代》叙述了拉格泰姆成为美国主流音乐的历程。历史传记小说题材传达了多克特罗不可知论,揭示了客观、统一视角的缺乏。该文以三个时代象征物揭示小说转喻的文体风格,最后阐述拉格泰姆丰富的音乐文化内涵。The novel of“Ragtime”presents how the musical genre of Ragtime developed into the American mainstream music.The historiographical novel conveys the agnosticism of Doctorow and reveals the lack of objective and unifying perspective.Three symbols of times demonstrate the metonymic style and the last part explores the rich musical connotations of Ragtime.
