摘　　要：张凤翙在甲午战败后走上军事救国道路,历经陕西武备学堂、日本振武学校、日本士官学校的学习,系统掌握了现代军事知识与军事技术。回国后他在陕西新军中历练,成为清末出色的新军军官。1911年10月22日张凤翙响应武昌起义,领导西安新军起义成功并光复陕西。陕西是与湖南同日响应武昌起义并取得成功的省份,也是北方诸省中革命成功的第一个省份,还是革命持续最长的省份,直到1912年3月10日袁世凯在北京宣誓就任临时大总统前夕才熄灭战火。张凤翙是陕西军政府首任都督,他在领导西安新军起义和捍卫陕西辛亥革命成果的过程中,在陕西摧毁一个旧世界,创建民主共和的新世界中,立下卓越功勋。After China’s defeat in the Sino Japanese War of 1894-1895,Zhang Fenghui embarked on the road of saving the country through military means.After systematic learning in Shaanxi Military Academy,Japanese Zhenwu School,and Japanese Military Officer School,he had mastered modern military knowledge and military technology.After returning to China,he trained in the Shaanxi New Army and became an outstanding New Army officer in the late Qing Dynasty.In response to the Wuchang Uprising on October 22,1911,he successfully led the the Xi’an New Army uprising which led to the restoration of Shaanxi.Shaanxi province responded to the Wuchang Uprising and achieved success on the same day as Hunan province.It was the first province in the north to achieve success in the revolution,and also the province where the revolutionary action lasted the longest,which lasted until Yuan Shikai was sworn in as provisional president in Beijing on March 10,1912.Zhang Fenghui was the first governor of the Shaanxi military government.In leading the Xi’an New Army uprising and defending the results of the Revolution in Shaanxi,he contributed greatly to destruction of the old world in Shaanxi and to the creation of a new democratic republic.
