平教会与定县社会权力结构浅析

摘　　要：站在定县社会的视角来看,定县实验的主持机构——中华平民教育促进会,作为一股外来势力,如何融入定县社会并开展实验以及结果如何,是值得考察的问题。众所周知,在传统中国社会环境中,士绅阶层作为根深蒂固的地方势力长期把持着基层社会的话语权。突然出现在定县的平教会打破了当地原有的微妙平衡,对士绅阶层造成了不小的挑战,定县士绅将会如何应对,双方博弈的结果又是如何,亦需要进一步的探索。The Chinese National Association of Mass Education Movements(MEM)is the host organization of the experiment in Ting Hsien.From the perspective of Ting Hsien society,it is worth investigating how the MEM,as an external force,integrated into Ting Hsien society and carried out the experiment and what results it obtained.As is known to all,in the traditional Chinese society,the gentry class,as a deep-rooted local power,had controlled the discourse power of its local society for a long time.The sudden emergence of the MEM broke the original delicate balance and posed a great challenge to the local gentry class.How the gentry in Ting Hsien would face it and how the game would be played between the two sides should be further explored.
