文化究竟是什么?

摘　　要：现代社会对于文化的研究越来越多,但"文化究竟是什么"的问题一直未获共识性解决。这种状况导致一些人认为"文化不可定义"或"文化不需要定义"。其实不然。文化难定义不等于文化不能定义和不需要定义。通过对各种既有文化定义的分类分析可知,它们或是犯了归类不当的错误,或是犯了以偏概全的错误。以此为鉴,拟将文化定义为人类创造力的果实。这个定义有诸多优长,应该就是既好用又经得起推敲的确当的文化定义。There are more and more researches on culture in modern society, but the problem of "what is culture" has not been solved by consensus. This situation leads some people to think that "culture is undefinable" or "culture does not need to be defined". It?s not. The fact that culture is difficult to define does not mean that culture cannot be defined or does not need to be defined. Through the classification and analysis of various existing cultural definitions, we can see that they make the mistake of either improper classification or overgeneralization. In view of this, culture is defined as the fruit of human creativity. This definition has many advantages, like the ease to use and endurance.
