摘  要:自从20世纪90年代提出了碟片激光器以来,其作为一种高功率光源而受到广泛关注。碟片激光器与传统的固体激光器相比,它的工作物质是非常薄的薄片,因此在很大程度上可以改善晶体的热效应问题,具有高光束质量、高转换效率、高输出功率等优点,拥有良好的发展前景。文中提供了一个关于碟片激光器原理的概述,总结了其关键技术及在工业、军事和科研方面的应用,并对其未来发展趋势做出预测。Since the thin-disc laser is proposed in the 1990s,it has been widely considered as a sort of high power light source.Compared with the traditional solid-state laser,the thin-disc laser works in a very thin sheet,so it can significantly reduce the thermal effect of the crystal,and has the advantages of excellent beam quality,high conversion efficiency,and high output power and so on.An overview of the principle of the thin-disc laser is provided,its key technologies and the applications such as industrial,military and scientific research are summarized,and its future development is forecasted.
