摘 要:中国近代高等教育诞生120年以来,经历了极不平凡的发展历程。回顾120年中国高等教育的发展历程,大致经历了清朝末年的诞生、民国时期的曲折发展和新中国成立以后的积极探索与改革开放以来快速发展时期,中国高等教育已经从精英化阶段、大众化阶段进入现在的普及化阶段。经过多年的发展,高等教育的规模与质量都有了质的提升。回顾过去,展望未来,教育现代化和教育强国的宏伟目标迫切要求中国高等教育走高质量发展之路。Since the birth of modern higher education in China 120 years ago,it has experienced an extraordinary process of development.Looking back on the history of China's higher education in the past 120 years,it has generally experienced the birth of the late Qing Dynasty,the tortuous development of the Republic of China,the active exploration after the founding of New China and the rapid development period since the reform and opening up.China's higher education has gone from an elite stage,a popular stage,and now has entered a stage of popularization.After years of development,the scale and quality of advanced education have been qualitatively improved.Looking back on the past and looking forward to the future,the ambitious goal of educational modernization and an education powerhouse urgently requires China's higher education to take the path of high-quality development.
