仁寿舍利塔地理分布考释与隋文帝的政治愿景

摘　　要：兴建舍利塔是隋朝佛教发展的重要标志,也是隋王朝政治统治时的重要佛教事件,是隋文帝利用佛教稳固其政治统治的手段。在转轮圣王与阿育王政教思想的影响下,隋朝舍利塔在缘起、颁布、建造、发酵的过程中都渗透着浓厚的政治权谋,看似毫无规律,其实刻意布局的佛塔地理分布受到了政治意图的影响。隋塔之布局至少遵从两种原则:一是佛塔分布在人口相对聚集的地区,二是佛塔颁布的高频区与重点政区相重合。其一目的在于尽可能扩大佛教之影响力,在思想统一的基础上稳固全国的大一统,同时宣扬君主统治的合法性;其二旨在强调文帝的区域政治策略,加强重点政区的管理实现区域统治的稳定性。舍利塔的地理分布是隋文帝政治考量的结果,这也进一步说明隋朝佛教与政治之间的紧密关系。Stupa was an important symbol of the Buddhist development in the Sui Dynasty,an important Buddhist event in the political governance of the Sui Dynasty and also a means for the Emperors of Sui to consolidate their political rule.Influenced by the thought of politics and religion of Chakravartin and Asoka,in the whole process of beginning,release,construction and publicity,stupas in the Sui Dynasty revealed strong political scheming.The geographical distribution of stupas in the Sui Dynasty followed two principles:first,stupas were distributed in the relatively densely populated areas;second,the release of high-frequency stupa areas coincided with the major political areas.There were two purposes:one was to expand the influence of Buddhism as far as possible on the basis of the ideological unity,it was hoped that the unification of the whole country should be consolidated and the legitimacy of the monarchy should be promoted;the other was to emphasize the regional political strategy of Emperor Wen of Sui and strengthen the management of key administrative areas so as to achieve the stability of regional governance.Therefore,the geographical distribution of stupas was the result of the political consideration of Emperor Wen of Sui,which further explained the close relationship between Buddhism and politics in the Sui Dynasty.
