摘　　要：新中国成立初期,黔西南地区开展了声势浩大的禁烟禁毒运动,有力地扫除了旧社会的污泥浊水,结束了鸦片烟毒长期对人民的毒害,得到广大人民群众的广泛支持。这一运动不但对良好社会风气的形成和社会秩序的稳定起了重要的作用,而且对新生人民民主政权的巩固,对党和人民政府威望的提高都产生了积极的影响。During the early period of new China, Qianxi’nan region carried out a massive opium contralcampaign, and ended the long-term harm of opium to the people, and receivedsupport fromthe masses. This movement not only played an important role in the formation of a good social atmosphere and the stability of social order, but also had a positive impact on the consolidation of the new people’s democratic regime and the improvement of the prestige of the Communist Party of Chinaand the people’s government.
