摘　　要：中国近代海关档案文献的史料价值一直为海内外学术界所称道。半个多世纪以来,在几代学界同仁的努力下,已整理出版诸如《中国近代经济史资料丛刊---帝国主义与中国海关》(再版为《帝国主义与中国海关资料丛编》,11册)①、《中国海关密档--赫德、金登干函电汇编(1874~1907)》(9卷)②、《中国旧海关史料(1859~1948)》(170册)③、《旧中国海关总税务司署通令选编》(5卷)④、《中国近代海关总税务司通令全编》(46册)⑤、《美国哈佛大学图书馆藏未刊中国旧海关史料》(283册)①、《民国广州要闻录(近代广东海关档案·粤海关情报卷)》(20册)②等一系列价值颇高的第一手史料。The Canton Customs Archives is one part of modern maritime customs archives.The main part of the Canton Customs House Archives conserved in Guangdong Province Archives Center and the fonds’number is the 94th.The fonds includes 5128 files(about 100 million pictures).This article discusses the Catalogue and Text about these archives.Classified index of the files divided the files into fourteen categories,but it couldn’t include all the files.Catalogue of the files is the index of every file.Classified index of the files and catalogue of the files are the points of penetration to utilize and study these archives.We can understand the organization structure about these archives through Classify index of the files and catalogue of the files.Index of Canton Customs House Archives is one file in the fonds and the number of the file is 2237Ath.Index of Canton Customs House Archives is different from the catalogue of the files.Index of Canton Customs House Archives was used by commissioners in the history and wrote in English.The catalogue of the files was using now and the language is Chinese.So,the content of Index of Canton Customs House Archives is different,and it included the catalogue of files before December 31,1901.These archives have different editions,such as Office Copy,Official Press,Master Copy and Press Copy.At the same time these archives have different written forms,such as hand writing,typewriter printing and printing.In short,this article presents the different kinds of catalogue,index and text of the Canton Customs House archives.The catalogue,index and text present different ways to study the archives.
