摘　　要：优秀的大学校长在治校中往往主要是抓住了大学危机并找到了解决路径,从而引领大学进行选择性变革,这种选择性变革的逻辑框架主要是:承认大学陷入危机;主动承担责任且做出改变;划清界限并明确问题;向外界寻求物质和资金帮助;借鉴他人应对危机的方法;建立大学认同;进行诚实的自我评估;总结大学应对过往危机的经验;保持耐心并尝试不同的解决方案;实现特定情况下大学的灵活性;确保大学核心价值观的适用性;不受地缘约束。大学校长在很大程度上决定着大学的发展进程,并为大学治理提供了一套概括性主题。An excellent university president always focuses on identifying the crisis in the university and finding a way to lead the university to selective transformation,the logical framework for which is primarily as follows:to acknowledge the crisis in the university;to shoulder the responsibility and make changes;to identify and classify problems;to seek material and financial assistance from outside the university;drawing on others’experience to tackle difficulties;to build university identity;to give modest university assessment;to review past experience in dealing with crisis;to be patient and try out different solution schemes;to be flexible in certain circumstances;to keep core values adaptable;and not to be geographically bound.A university president plays a decisive role in where the university is heading to a large extent and provide a set of general principles for university governance.
