摘 要:高阶脉冲幅度调制(Pulse Amplitude Modulation,PAM)方式在相同码元内可以传输更多比特信息,进一步提升了通信系统的调制效率和频带利用率。但高阶PAM调制系统的抗噪声性能较差,信号振幅在传输过程中易受信道衰减的影响。为了提升高阶PAM系统的可靠性,提出一种改进的PAM码元波形结构,改进方案使系统在相同信噪和调制阶数下误码率降低。将TMS32C6748浮点型数字信号处理器(Digital Signal Processing,DSP)作为光通信系统的控制芯片,设计并实现了基于高阶PAM室内的可见光通信系统。通过搭建实验平台验证了该方案下的系统通信性能,实验结果表明该通信系统具有误码率低、调制效率高等优点,满足高性能室内可见光通信系统的要求。A high⁃order pulse amplitude modulation(PAM)method can transmit more bits of information within the same symbol,improving the modulation efficiency and the frequency band utilization of the communication system.However,the high⁃order PAM system has poor anti⁃noise ability,and the signal amplitude is easily affected by channel attenuation during transmission.To improve the reliability of high⁃order PAM systems,an improved PAM symbol waveform structure is proposed.The improved scheme reduces the bit error rate of the system at the same signal⁃to⁃noise and modulation order.Using TMS32C6748 floating⁃point digital signal processing(DSP)as the control chip of the optical communication system,a visible light communication system based on the high⁃end PAM room is designed and implemented.The system communication performance of the scheme is verified by an experimental platform.Experimental results show that the communication system has the advantages of low bit error rate and high modulation efficiency,thus meeting the requirements of high⁃performance indoor visible light communication systems.
