高厄的七罪书写和道德选择——以《人类之镜》为例

摘　　要：中世纪英国诗人约翰·高厄在他的盎格鲁-诺曼语诗歌《人类之镜》中进行社会批判和道德考量。本文旨在回归语境,研究高厄如何采用拟人化寓言、等级讽刺文和训诫文等形式阐释罪恶和美德的关系,表达对道德丧失的愤怒,并在自我反思的基础上扩大道德说教范围,达到向社会说教之效,与同时代文本构成互文。在14世纪70年代英国内外交困的境况下,高厄为个人救赎和社会发展谏言,表达了对精神家园和社会风气的道德召唤。The medieval English poet John Gower in his Anglo-Norman poem Mirour de l’Omme makes social criticism and moral appraisal. This paper aims to contextualize Gower and study how he explores the relationship between the virtues and vices through the forms of personification allegory, estate satires and exempla to express his moral outrage, expand his moral circle on the basis of his self-reflection and make the poem moralistic and intertextual with his contemporary texts. Gower reveals his moral calling for a spiritual realm and public morality by putting forward his advice for personal salvation and social development when England was beset with difficulties both inside and outside of the kingdom in the 1370 s.
