摘　　要：Atrailblazer in China’s Malay language education,Professor Wu Zongyu has contributed his wisdom and passion to Malay teaching at Beijing Foreign Studies University(BFSU)and trained numerous students who now wield a good command of Malay.Today,he is a renowned educator and language promoter not only in China but also in Malaysia.Now in his eighties,Professor Wu still speaks of Malay teaching with enthusiasm,to which he has devoted his entire professional life.
