摘　　要：A species of the family Xyloryctidae,Neospastis camellia S.Wang,nom.nov.,is described as a replacement name of N.simaona nom.nud.,with the descriptions of its larva and pupa and the biological notes.The pest is feeding on the leaves of tea plant Camellia sinensis(L.)O.Kuntze(Theaceae).
