摘　　要：随着社会经济的快速发展,承办大型体育赛事已经从政府的独揽逐渐向政府和市场经济的合作转变,在这种情况下大型体育赛事举办的性质和内涵相应发生了改变,对承办大型体育赛事城市的发展具有很好的促进作用。此次岳阳市承办省运会将有一定的社会影响力,对岳阳市的经济发展有一定的促进作用,对推动城市的各项经济建设具有很大的帮助。With the rapid development of social economy,the undertaking of large-scale sports events has gradually changed from the government's monopoly to the cooperation between the government and market economy.In this case,the nature and connotation of large-scale sports events have correspondingly changed,which also has a good role in promoting the development of cities undertaking large-scale sports events.The hosting of the Provincial Games in Yueyang City will have a certain social influence,promote the economic development of Yueyang City,and be of great help to promote the economic construction of the city.
