从书信看兰克第一本书及附本的诞生  

The Birth of Ranke’s First Book and Its Supplement Based on the Correspondence Letters

摘　　要：以兰克写作与出版第一本书《罗曼与日耳曼诸民族史1494—1535》第一册及附本《近代史家批判》时期的来往书信为主要资料基础,结合其他方面的史料与研究,还原兰克第一本书及附本的写作、出版以及兰克进入德国大学史学界的过程。研究表明,兰克能以其第一本书及附本进入德国大学史学界,主要是由于当时普鲁士文化部高官的重视,而不是因为这两本书被当时的德国与普鲁士史学界视为具有划时代意义的史学著作。兰克得以进入德国大学史学界,固然要归结于他在其第一本书及附本中表现出来的史学才能,但他试图通过出版著作以摆脱个人与研究困境的急切追求,以及出版过程的节外生枝,也给这两本书打上了明显的烙印。Based on the correspondence letters during the period when Leopold von Ranke wrote and published the first book History of the Latin and Teutonic Nations from 1494 to 1535 and the supplement Criticism of Modern Historians as the main data basis,the paper combines with other historical materials and research and restores the writing and publishing of Rank’s first book and its supplement,and the process of Rank’s entry into the history of German universities.The findings show that Ranke was able to enter the field of German university history with his first book and its supplement,mainly because of attention from the high officials of the Prussian Ministry of Culture at the time,not because these two books were regarded as epoch-making histori⁃cal works by the German and Prussian historians at the time.It was due to his historical talents shown in his first book and its sup⁃plement that Ranke was able to enter the field of German university history.However,his eager pursuit to get rid of his personal and research dilemma by publishing his works and the newly appeared affairs of the publishing process have also been clearly branded on these two books.
