清季大他坦及其政治作用刍论  

A Study on the Datatan and Its Political Roles in the Late Qing Dynasty

摘　　要：音译词“他坦”在清代具有多重含义。到清末时,宫内他坦大体包括太监他坦、宫内各处他坦、妃嫔他坦等。作为妃嫔他坦的太后宫及其苑囿离宫的他坦一般被称为大他坦。辛酉政变后,太后长期参与朝政,因此太后宫的大他坦,在清季半个世纪内具有重要的政治功能。大他坦政治功能的强化是统治制度适应太后参政的制度调试,曾发挥了一定的积极作用。随着时代的变迁,其烦琐的消极作用也逐渐显现。The transliterated word“Tatan”had multiple meanings in the Qing Dynasty.In the Late Qing Dynasty,royal Tatans generally included eunuch Tatan,subordinated Tatan,empress and imperial concubine Tatan.The Tatan of Empress Dowager’s palace was generally called Datatan.After the Xinyou Coup D’Etat,the Empress Dowager began to participated in the political affairs,so the Datatan in the Empress Dowager’s palace had an important political function in the half century of the late Qing Dynasty.The strengthening of the political function of Datatan is the institutional adjustment of the ruling system to adapt to the Empress Dowager’s participation in politics,which has played a positive role.With the change of the times,its complex and negative effects were gradually emerging.
