人情支出对农村劳动力非农就业的影响研究——基于CFPS微观数据的实证分析

摘　　要：“制度化信任”的缺失及其衍生出的“特事特办”制度引致当下中国人依然热衷于人际关系的培养与利用。农村熟人社会中的人情支出行为塑造了农民极具乡土色彩的人际关系网络,针对农村地区不断上涨的人情支出现象,利用2014年中国家庭追踪调查微观数据,探讨人情支出对农村劳动力非农就业的影响。研究发现:人情支出显著增加了农村劳动力非农就业的概率,通过获得亲友信贷支持进行非农创业是重要的影响机制;工具变量法、敏感性分析与替换解释变量均表明人情支出对农村劳动力非农就业的促进作用是稳健的;进一步地,异质性讨论得出人情支出对于年龄在40岁以下、低收入家庭以及所在村庄为非少数民族聚集区的农村劳动力非农就业的促进效果会更加明显。研究结论不仅为理解农村熟人社会中的人情支出行为提供了新的视角,也为探索农村劳动力非农就业的决定因素提供了新的证据。The lack of“institutionalized trust”and its derivation of the“special treatment”system have led to the current enthusiasm of Chinese people to cultivate and exploit interpersonal relationships.Gift spending in rural acquaintance society has shaped farmers’vernacular interpersonal network.In reaction to that gift spending continued to rise in rural areas,by using the 2014 China Family Panel Studies microdata,we explore the impact of gift spending on nonfarm employment of rural laborers.We found that gift spending significantly increased the probability of non-farm employment among rural laborers and non-farm entrepreneurship through obtaining credit support from friends and relatives was an important mechanism.Instrumental variables approach,sensitivity analysis and replacement of explanatory variables all indicate that the contribution of gift spending to non-farm employment of rural labor is robust.Further,the heterogeneity discussion concludes that the promotion effect of gift spending on non-farm employment is more pronounced for rural laborers who are under the age of 40,from low-income households,and whose villages are non-ethnic minority congregations.These findings not only provide a new perspective for understanding gift spending behavior in rural acquaintance societies,but also provide new evidence for exploring the determinants of non-farm employment of rural laborers.
