摘　　要：I am Dr.Elia G.Kaiyamo,Namibian ambassador to China.While attending the 15th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties(COP15)to the Convention on Biological Diversity,I accepted an interview with China Today on the sidelines,during which I was introduced to this magazine.After reading through it,I was quite impressed with how informative the articles in the magazine are.Articles in the Special Report section of the November issue on the theme of“Ecological Civilization Building on the Move”were especially inspiring and visionary.I was so excited when I heard about the news that China would officially designate its first group of national parks and take the lead in establishing a Kunming Biodiversity Fund with an investment of RMB 1.5 billion to support biodiversity protection in developing countries.
