摘　　要：系统功能语法从孕育、诞生到成长、壮大,前后历经70余年,体系丰富庞杂,影响广泛深远。作为Halliday理论构建的前期重要成果,系统语法为整个系统功能语法理论体系的建构奠定了良好基础。以系统语法与中国的渊源和回归为切入点,围绕系统语法的“实用性”“社会性”与“选择”思想展开多维讨论,从中发现系统语法的精髓与局限。系统语法描写性较强,作为适用语言学的价值更加显著,其实用性要强于理论性。系统语法更关注生物体间的语言活动,却在一定程度上忽略了生物体内部的心理现实与人脑中语言生成的现实。系统语法今后的发展,需要坚持系统与功能两大基本观点。Within approximate 70 years,SFG has undergone conception,birth,and its final growth into a complex,more importantly,influential theory.As the early theory of Halliday,Systemic Grammar could be said to have laid a good foundation for SFG.This article starts with the Chinese origin of SFG,attempting to discuss the limitation of SG from the perspective of its main ideas of applicability,sociality,and choice.Applicable linguistics as it is,SG shows greater value in its applicability than it does in theory.Moreover,SG emphasizes inter-organism activity while paying less attention to inner-organism,the physiological reality of human mind and cognitive aspects of language generation.SFG should hold firm the original standpoints of system and function.
