摘　　要：东西方国家对传统手工艺的不同认知,很大程度体现在对“技”与“艺”认识的不同上,即对“艺术家”与“工匠”这两个角色的认知。本文将通过对东西方的对比,以中国、印度、日本、欧洲国家为例,来讨论传统工艺的地位与发展脉络。The different understandings of traditional crafts in eastern and western countries are largely based on the different cognition of“technology”and“art”,that is,the cognition of“artist”and“craftman”.This paper will discuss the history and development of traditional crafts by comparing the East and the West,taking China,India,Japan and European countries as examples.
