摘　　要：弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫生于帝国的没落之际,时代和童年赋予了她太多的创伤,在她心智上种下了毒瘤,但她却有着顽强的生命力。文章着重从伍尔夫的短篇小说《达洛卫夫人》中的塞普蒂默斯疾病从误诊到得到正确的诊断来挖掘创作时她的精神状态以及对创作的影响。伍尔夫在塞普蒂默斯的诊断过程中构建了一个医疗乌托邦,表达了对未来的美好期望。Virginia Woolf was born at the time of the decline of the Empire.Her time and childhood gave her too many wounds and planted a malignant tumor in her mind,but she has tenacious vitality.This paper focuses on exploring her mental state and its influence on her creation from the misdiagnosis to the correct diagnosis of Septimus disease in Woolf’s short story“Mrs.Dalloway”.Woolf constructed a medical Utopia in the process of Septimus’diagnosis and expressed his good expectations for the future.
