摘　　要：文章求得了Maxwell分布参数的最短置信区间,并证明了最短置信区间的存在性与唯一性.与传统的等尾置信区间的比较结果显示,在小样本情况下,最短置信区间用作Maxwell分布未知参数的区间估计会显著提高估计的精度.This paper calculates the shortest confidence interval of Maxwell distribution parameter,proves the existence and uniqueness of the shortest confidence interval.Comparing with the traditional equal-tailed confidence interval,the proposed shortest confidence interval can remarkably improve the precision of the interval estimation when the sample size is small.
