摘　　要：大禹生于六月六日的传说自汉魏以来广为流传。究其原因,西汉时期,在五行数术学说的影响下,数字神秘主义盛行一时,作为治水圣王的大禹与五行之水,进而与数字六结下了不解之缘,大禹生日“六月六日说”于是应运而生。与此相关,六月六日之水也被认为具有种种奇效。而《汉书·律历志》中关于夏代积年四百三十二岁的记载,可能也源自大禹与数字六的特殊关系。The legend that Da Yu's birthday is on June the Sixth has been widely spread since Han and Wei Dynasties.With the influence of the theory of Five Phases Theory&Divination-Numerology,numerology-Mysticism prevailed for a time during the Western Han Dynasty.Because Da Yu the Great harnessed the flood,naturally he was connected with Water in Five Phases Theory.All of these were in an indissoluble bond with the number of Six,and the legend that Da Yu's birthday is on June the Sixth was brought into being.Correspondingly,the water on June the Sixth is believed to possess many magic powers.And the record that Xia Dynasty lasted for 432 years in History of Han Dynasty-Temperament&Calendar Study may derive from the special connection between Da Yu and the number of Six.
