从文明语言到语言文明:论“语言文明”概念的层次性

摘　　要：语言文明概念可以分为3个层次:礼貌语言体现的语言文明,属于个体层次的语用范畴;典雅语言体现的语言文明,属于言语社区层次的语体范畴;本土术语与知识体系体现的语言文明,属于文化共同体层次的语言范畴。就第一层次而言,以往针对礼貌用语、语言暴力、语言纯洁与规范的研究只是对“文明语言”的研究,不足以构成“语言文明”的完整含义;就第二层次而言,推行“雅文运动”,提倡典雅文体是社会整体文化程度达到新高度后的内在需求,也是精神文明建设和民族复兴的必由之路;就第三层次而言,文明自语言始,语言在建构和传播文明的过程中,形成了语言与文明的同构性,语言符号所表征的知识体系就是文明成果。语言文明概念内涵丰富,包容性和系统性强,具有广阔的应用和发展前景,必将成为阐释当代语言生活的核心概念。The concept of language civilization can be divided into three levels:the linguistic politeness of the pragmatic category at the individual level;that of the elegant style at the level of a speech community,and the innovation of the local terminology and knowledge system at the level of a cultural community.As far as the first level is concerned,the previous studies on politeness,language violence and language purity are only the study of“linguistic civilization”,which is not enough to reveal the complete connotations of“language civilization”.At the second level,implementing the“elegancy movement”and promoting the elegant style is not only the internal social requirement after the cultural level of all members has reached a new height,but also an inevitable step for the construction of our spiritual civilization and national rejuvenation;at the third level,it should be noted that civilization begins with language.In the process of constructing and spreading civilization,the isomorphism between language and civilization has formed.The knowledge system represented by language symbols is the achievements of civilization.The concept of language civilization is rich in connotations,strong in inclusiveness and explanatory power,which shows promising development prospects and will become the core concept to explain contemporary language life.
