摘　　要：元稹与白居易是关系最亲密的朋友,一生有很多相同、相通之处,在爱情与婚姻的选择上便非常一致。元白早年都曾经历过一段历久不忘的“非法”恋情,后来又都逃避了曾经一度拥有的自由爱情而选择了没有爱情的“合法”婚姻。这与二人的品格没有关系,而是因为他们无法赋予自由自主的恋爱以“合法性”与正当性,认为那不过是一场“错误”导致的无意收获,在未来合适的时候,反思、逃避自己过往情感世界的一段美丽,回归以礼自守的自己,选择“合法”的婚姻,便是自然且必然的选择。在中国古代,恋爱往往只开花不结果,婚姻往往不开花但结果,这是虽然残酷但无比真实的历史图景。Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi were the closest friends,they had a lot in common in their lives.Especially,they were consistent in their choice for love and marriage.In their early years both of them had been in an illegal relationship for a long time.Later,they both escaped the free love they once owned and chose a“legal”marriage without love.It has nothing to do with their character and morals.It is because they cannot give“legitimacy”to their free and autonomous love.Believing It was an unintentional gain from an“error”and Reflecting on the beauty of their past emotional world at the right time in the future,they returned to being self-controlled with ethical code and finally selected their“legal”marriage,which was their natural and inevitable choice.It is a cruel but true picture of history in ancient China love affairs often blossomed but bore no fruit while marriage did blossom but bore fruit.
