摘　　要：为贯彻党的十九届五中全会关于构建新发展格局的新要求,促进中国区域经济和经济地理理论与实践创新,第二十三届全国经济地理研究会年会以“构建优势互补高质量发展区域经济新格局”为主题,从东西双向开放下国际国内区域合作与沿边区域发展、城市群经济地理演化的内在机制与治理方略、区域协调与国家重大发展战略、中国特色经济地理学理论体系构建与研究方法创新等方面展开了讨论,为新时代高质量发展区域经济新格局的构建提供了丰富的理论经验与实践启示。In order to implement the new requirements of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on building a new development paradigm,and to promote regional economy of China and theory of economic geography and practice in innovation,the 23 rd Annual Conference of China Economic Geography Association will make"establishment a new paradigm of complementary advantages and high-quality development of regional economy"as the theme.Discussion would be carried upon international and domestic regional cooperation and border regional development under east-west two-way opening-up,the internal mechanism and governance strategy of urban agglomeration economic geography evolution,regional coordination and major national development strategies,theoretical system construction and research method innovation of economic geography with Chinese characteristics and so forth.The conference provided rich theoretical experience and practical inspiration for the construction of a new paradigm of high-quality development of the regional economy in the new era.
