摘　　要：吴语区地名用字"溇"分布在太湖平原和绍兴水网地区,有多个义项。通过梳理历史文献,"溇"的语义是按水潭>溇沼系统>田中水沟>断头浜>河港顺序发展变化的。The word lou 溇 for constituting place names in Wu dialects is used in the Taihu Plain and the region of wetland in Shaoxing.The word bears multiple meanings and denotations.By analyzing historical documents,this paper argues that the meanings develop along the path of pool>pool and ditch system in paddy fields surrounded with dikes>ditch in a field>small river with a blind end>river harbor.
