In the 1990s,novel creation in Australian Chinese newspapers began to emerge, which was closely related to the role of Australian Chinese newspapers in literary occurrence. On the one hand, the Chinese newspapers founded by Chinese overseas students had constructed an important literary field for the emergence of Australian Chinese novels in the process of creation, publication and acceptance of the literary works. On the other hand,in the 1990s,the novel creation in Australian and Chinese newspapers laid a foundation for the prosperity of Australian and Chinese literature in terms of content, theme, language form and style. As an important form of literature,Australian Chinese novels not only enrich the content of Australian Chinese literature, but also promote the rise of Australian Chinese writers.
