摘　　要：东西方文化的碰撞与融合是20世纪中后期美华文学的常见主题。在美华人身处两种文化的碰撞中,语言不通导致产生强烈的认同焦虑和失语症,无法融入异族文化也无法回到故国文化带来归属感的缺乏,引发了很多自杀主题,东西方文化在交流中不断碰撞。然而全球化发展为东西方文化融合提供了契机,碰撞之后开始彼此接纳,进而探讨东西方文化融合的可能性。他者形象在相互融合的过程中发生改变,华人也开始重新思考自我的文化身份,重新建构自我认同。本文借鉴族裔文学研究方法、认同理论以及形象学理论来阐述20世纪中后期美华文学中的东西方文化碰撞与融合,认识美华文学在促进世界文化交流和发展方面的重要意义。The collision and fusion of eastern and western cultures is a common research subject of American and Chinese literature in the middle and late 20th century.Due to the collision between the two cultures and the language barrier,there have formed gradually in the Chinese people in America strong identity anxiety and aphasia,and their inability to blend into other cultures and return to their native cultures,which has brought about a serious lack of sense of belonging that resulted in many suicides and continuous collision between eastern and western cultures.However,the development of globalization provides an opportunity for cultural integration of the East and the West.That is,after the collision,they began to accept each other,and then show a possibility of fusing into each other.The image of each other changed bit by bit in the process of mutual integration,and the Chinese abroad also began to rethink their own cultural identity and reconstruct their own self-identity.Therefore,this paper draws lessons from ethnic literature research methods,identity theory and imagology theory to illustrate the collision and integration of eastern and western cultures in American and Chinese literature in the middle and late 20th century,and to analyze the significance of American and Chinese literature in promoting cultural exchanges and development in the world.
