撕裂模式下HDPE/EPDM TPV的Mullins效应及其可逆回复行为

摘  要:采用动态硫化法制备了高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)/三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)热塑性硫化胶(TPV),研究了其微观相结构、撕裂模式下的Mullins效应及热处理条件下的Mullins效应的可逆回复行为。结果表明,HDPE/EPDM TPV微观相形貌呈现典型的“海-岛”结构;在HDPE/EPDM TPV的单轴循环撕裂过程中出现了明显的Mullins效应,且随着应变的增大,撕裂模式下的最大应力、瞬时残余应变、内耗以及tanδ均随之增大,但应力软化因子随之下降;在相同应变下,随着循环撕裂次数的增多,最大撕裂强度、内耗以及tanδ趋于减小,但瞬时残余应变和应力软化因子则趋于增大;在热处理条件下,HDPE/EPDM TPV Mullins效应的可逆回复程度随热处理温度的升高而增强,且在120℃时可逆回复效果最佳。Thermoplastic vulcanizate(TPV)based on high density polyethylene(HDPE)/ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM)was prepared by dynamic vulcanization method,and the microstructure,the Mullins effect under tearing mode and the reversibility behavior at different heat treatment temperatures were studied systematically.The results showed that the typical microstructure of“sea-island”could be observed obviously in the etched HDPE/EPDM TPV surface,and a significant Mullins effect could be observed during uniaxial cyclic tearing of HDPE/EPDM TPV.The maximum strength,residual deformation,internal friction and tanδwere increased with increasing strain,while the degree of stress softening effect was decreased obviously.At the same strain,with increasing number of cycles,the residual deformation and the degree of stress softening effect were increased while the maximum strength,internal friction and tanδwere decreased.The degree of reversibility of Mullins effect of HDPE/EPDM TPV under heat treatment conditions gradually increased with increasing heat treatment temperature,and the best reversible recovery was achieved at 120℃.
