Objective To provide a new diagnostic approach for immunologic infertility by investigating the correlation of autoantibodies and trace elements from immunologically infertile patients. Methods The expression levels of Ca, Fe, Zn and Cu were detected by atomic absorption spectrometry. The AhCGAb, AsAb, AOAb, EMAb were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results The expression levels of Ca and Fe were decreased in the serum of the infertility group without significant difference in comparison with control group(P>0.05).The expression levels of Zn and Cu were significantly increased as compared to the control group(P<0.01).Cu was positively correlated to the generation of AhCGAb, AsAb, AoAb and EmAb(P<0.01).Ca, Fe and Zn had no correlation with the production of AhCGAb, AsAb, AoAb and EmAb.Conclusion The serum trace elements in infertility patients were changed, and the content of Cu was increased and positively correlated with the production of autoantibodies. So detecting the trace elements has become the new index of diagnosis and treatment of immune infertility.
