摘　　要：In fast-developing China,all courses in college need to take ideological and political education into teaching plan,this paper talks about the combining ideological and political education with English-Chinese translation teaching.Starting with analyzing the current situation and the necessities,this paper points out three basics for the combining:national confidence,culture confidence and keeping pace with the times.In the end,this paper points out some requirements for colleges,for departments,for teachers and for teaching methodologies.
