摘　　要：外文图书是高校图书馆文献资源体系的重要组成部分,具有学术价值高、受众范围小、出版书目多、单册价格高的特点。在文献资源经费有限的情况下,如何客观评价并采购学科领域内具有影响力的高品质外文图书,一直是高校图书馆普遍关心的问题。文章采取实证研究的方法,通过对全球范围内学术图书的引证分析,呈现国际学术出版的概貌。总结上海交通大学图书馆的外文图书建设实践经验,研究如何将高被引图书和高影响力出版社的引证分析与本校实际需求相结合,制定更有效的采购策略,发挥经费使用效益,构建高品质外文学术图书保障体系。Foreign language books are an important part of the academic library collection.They have high academic value,but a narrow audience.A large number of such books are published and often priced highly.With limited resource budgets,how to evaluate and select influential and high-quality foreign language books in a certain field has been a common concern to academic libraries.This paper,by means of an empirical research,presents the general appearance of international academic books through the citation analysis on a global scale.In a case study,it summarizes the practice of foreign language book acquisitions in Shanghai Jiao Tong University Library,and studies how the citation analysis of highly-cited books and publishing houses can meet the real needs of the university,and thus to establish an effective collection development policies.As a result,library funds are fully used to establish a high-quality and reliable foreign language academic book support system.
