融合中国曲艺风格的品特《房间》

摘　　要：诺奖作家品特经典剧作《房间》一直吸引着剧作家的改编。美国先锋实验剧团伍斯特小组2014年有中国之行,之后融合中国曲艺风格改编《房间》。文章追踪该剧团2014年的中国考察,研究《房间》的舞台制作录像,结合文献梳理,探析这部独具评弹风韵的品特经典改编中的中国灵感,辨析其中的相声、评弹等中国曲艺元素。这一中西合璧的《房间》在舞美音效、服装道具、演绎手法、制作态度和效果等多方面都较好地利用陌生化手法完成了“品特式”风格。Nobel Prize-winning writer Pinter's classic play The Room has always attracted adaptations from playwrights.The Wooster Group,a New York City-based experimental theater company,was inspired by Chinese folk arts during a tour in China in the fall of 2014,and then adapted The Room in the style of Chinese folk art.The article traces the detailed activities of the troupe’s trip to China,studies the stage performance video of The Room,combs through the literature,and analyzes the Chinese inspiration in the adaptation.The Room,which combines Chinese Pingtan and Crosstalk elements with Pinter’s original play in Western style,makes good use of defamiliarization techniques to achieve the Pinteresque in terms of setting arrangement,sound effects,costume design,stage props,performance techniques and artistic effects.
