摘　　要：新工科是在新一轮科技革命与产业变革即将到来的背景下提出的,旨在探索适合新时代高等教育改革的新模式与新经验。文章根据新工科建设的要求,结合作者自身多年的环境工程专业英语教学实践经验,从教材内容的更新与补充、课堂教学质量的提升、课程考核体系的优化等方面进行了初步的探索与改革,以期提高环境工程专业英语教学质量和效果,培养出专业能力强、具有国际视野、适应新时代要求的高素质复合型人才。Emerging engineering education is put forward under the background of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change,which aim is to explore the new mode and new experience suitable for the higher education reform in the new era.According to the requirement of construction of emerging engineering education,combined with the experience in Environmental Engineering Special English teaching practice,the preliminary exploration and teaching reform of this course were conducted from the aspects of renewing and supplementing of textbook contents,classroom teaching quality improvement and curriculum assessment system optimization.The aim of the study is to improve Environmental Engineering Professional English teaching quality and effect,to cultivate high quality compound talents with strong professional ability,international vision and adaptability to the requirements of the new era.
