Canine mammary tumorisone of the most common tumors in veterinary clinics, which seriously threatens the health of dogs. Surgical treatment combined with chemotherapy is the main approach to the treatment of canine mammary tumors. However, China has not yet approved any chemotherapeutic drugs for canine breast cancer for veterinary clinical use. Since canine mammary tumors and human breast tumors share part of the pathogenesis, the scientific and reasonable conversion of anti-human breast cancer drugs to canine drugs provides a new way to solve the shortage of pet clinical drugs. To accelerate the research on and development of canine mammary tumor drugs, it is necessary to review the research results on chemotherapeutic drugs for canine breast tumor. By summarizing the current status of chemotherapeutic drugs for canine mammary tumors, this review focuseson the progress in research onanti-canine mammary tumor drugs both at home and abroad in recent years, and provides ideas and references for development of canine mammary tumor drugs.
