摘　　要：蔡无忌是我国现代畜牧兽医事业的先驱和商品检验尤其是畜产品检验的奠基人之一。他曾担任中央大学农学院院长,发起成立中国畜牧兽医学会,在商品检验领域奋斗了50年,为我国防治和根除牛瘟、完善商品检验制度、保障进出口畜产品质量等作出了重要贡献。文章通过系统梳理蔡无忌的成长成才经历,以及他在畜牧兽医科学研究、教育、推广、传承等方面的突出成就,以期让广大农业工作者继承和发扬蔡无忌先生"科技报国"的治学理念和"奋斗不息"的工作态度。Cai Wuji is the pioneer of modern animal husbandry and veterinary medicine in China and one of the founders of commodity inspection, especially livestock products inspection in the country. He used to serve as the dean of the Agricultural College of National Central University, initiated the establishment of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, and worked hard in the field of commodity inspection for 50 years. He made great contributions to the prevention and eradication of rinderpest in China, the improvement of the commodity inspection system, and the guarantee of the quality of imported and exported livestock products. This article systematically summarizes Prof. Cai Wuji’s life experience and scholastic success, and his outstanding achievements in scientific research, instruction, promotion, and inheritance in the fields of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, in the hope of helping all the agricultural workers to inherit and develop Prof. Cai Wuji’s academic philosophy of “serving the country with science and technology” and the work attitude of “constant striving”.
