摘　　要：艾丽丝·沃克的小说《紫色》一问世便取得了巨大成功,拿下美国文学的三项大奖--美国国家图书奖、全国书评家协会奖和普利策奖,并且被搬上大银幕。《紫色》中首次提出了"妇女主义"概念引发巨大社会反响。妇女主义在小说主人翁西丽身上有着淋漓尽致而又成效显著的体现,具体体现在西丽通过不懈努力争取经济独立和精神独立。妇女主义在当代并未过时,它仍将指引当代女性为自身的自由和权利而奋斗,对当代女性依然具有重要的指导意义和借鉴价值。Alice Walker’s novel Purple was a great success,winning three awards for American literature—National Book Award,National Book Critics Circle Award and The Pulitzer Prizes,and being put on the big screen.Purpleis written in a unique epistolary style.What’s more,it is more famous that the novel first put forward"feminism"and caused great social repercussions.Feminism is well represented by the heroine Celie who made unremitting efforts to strive for economic and spiritual independence.Feminism is not out of date in the contemporary times,and will be significant guidance and reference for contemporary women to struggle for their own freedom and rights.
