英语运动事件框架中的隐喻路径实证研究——以运动动词climb为例

摘　　要：本研究结合英语运动动词climb(爬)的实际语料调查英语运动事件框架中的路径,发现运动事件框架中既有物理路径,也存在隐喻路径,而Talmy所提的虚构路径极少。对这些隐喻路径进行的分析发现:隐喻路径中存在的隐喻主要为拟人隐喻和容器隐喻。This study investigates the paths in the English motion event frames based on the actual corpus of the English motion verb climb.We find that there are both physical paths and metaphorical paths in the frames,while there are few fictive paths proposed by Talmy.By analyzing these metaphorical paths,it is found that the metaphors are mainly personification and container metaphors.
