摘　　要：以文化交涉视角观察近代来华外国人对中国新闻史的研究可见,参与者"跨越"各自的背景与倾向,以"周边"他者的视角观察着近代中国新闻业,并在相遇、联结与碰撞中形成了中外交孚、多方参与的互动关系网络。基于对这一互动关系网络的考察,本文认为其为这一时期中国学者提供了重要的学术滋养,后者是在改造、更新、重构来华外国人成果的基础开始了早期的中国新闻史研究。而至当下,从文化交涉与关系网络的视角反思当前中国新闻史研究之不足,或为促进与西方学界深入对话的重要途径。Observing Chinese journalism history studies of modern foreigners in China from the perspective of cultural interaction shows that the foreign scholars have "crossed" their respective backgrounds and cultural tendencies, and observed modern Chinese journalism as "outsiders". During the cultural encounter, exchange and conflict, an interactive relational network of sino-foreign cooperation with multi-participant was formed. Based on the analysis of this network, this article believes that it provided crucial academic nourishment to Chinese scholars in the same period. Thus, the early domestic studies could begin based on reforming, renewing and reconstructing the achievements of these foreign scholars in China. That is to say, reflecting the shortcomings of the current research on Chinese journalism history from the perspective of cultural interaction and relational networks may become an important way to promote in-depth dialogue with Western academia.
