从《世说新语》看刘义庆的“贤媛”观

摘  要:晋宋间刘义庆在《世说新语》“贤媛”一栏,记载了一批有远见卓识的才女,将妇女“贤”的定义重新诠释为“才识德态”,并将才放于首位,赞赏女子的才能和胆识,从而挑战了儒家传统的妇女观。刘氏“贤媛观”的形成有着历史和社会的原因,魏晋时期佛道发展,清谈盛行,儒学式微,是一个“文学自觉的时代”,也是人的自觉的时代。魏晋士人在重塑儒家人格的过程中,形成了新的人才评价标准,自然也影响了对女子的评定,刘义庆对女性“贤”的阐释体现了他超越前人的进步妇女观。During the Jin and Song dynasties,Liu Yiqing recorded a group of virtuous and talented women in his book Shi Shuo Xin Yu.He reinterpreted a woman’s“virtue”as“talent,knowledge and morality”and challenged the traditional Confucian view on women by putting“talent”in the first place and appreciating women’s talent and courage.Liu’s“views on virtuous and talented women”was formed with historical and social reasons.In the Wei and Jin dynasties,Buddhism and Taoism were developing with the prevalence of idle talk and the decline of Confucianism.It is an era of both“literary consciousness”and human consciousness.In the process of reshaping Confucian personality,the scholars in the Wei and Jin dynasties constructed a new talent evaluation criterion,which accordingly affects the evaluation of women.Liu Yiqing’s interpretation of women’s“virtue”incarnates his progressive view on women beyond his predecessors.
