《酒吧闲聊与标准英语》中的“聊天体”分析

摘　　要：说明文《酒吧闲聊与标准英语》在写作风格方面极具特色,却没有引起人们的关注。其独特的写作风格主要体现为“聊天体”。通过对此风格详解后发现:文章不恰当的标题、突兀的过渡、委婉的结论彰显了聊天体的结构的松散性,而突然的离题则显明了聊天体的话题的随意性,由此既达到了闲聊的目的,也有效地满足了文章主题思想表达的需求。如此,读者能从中更好地欣赏聊天体的使用及其奇妙之处。As an expository writing,Pub Talk and the King's English is much distinctive from any general expositions in its writing style.But no attention is paid to it.This special writing style is manifested as conversational style.After analyzing its specific use,it has been found out that the improper title,abrupt transition and indirect conclusion vividly reveal the loose structure of the style,while the sudden digressions skillfully show that the topic gets casually changed.In that way,the purpose of conversation has been achieved and the need of expressing the central idea has been effectively satisfied.Thus,readers can better appreciate the style and its fantastic effect from this analysis.
