摘　　要：美国黑人文学选集的编纂对于肯定黑人作家的艺术才能、保护黑人文本以及扩大黑人文学影响力等方面功不可没。由盖茨等人主编的《诺顿美国非裔文学选集》促进了美国黑人文学的经典化。文章聚焦该文选收录美国黑人文学作品的广泛性和包容性等特点、它与黑人文学土语传统的关系以及盖茨的经典建构策略,探讨《诺顿美国非裔文学选集》在美国黑人文学经典建构方面的价值和意义。The compilation of anthologies of African American literature has contributed greatly to affirming the artistic talent of black writers,protecting black texts and expanding the influence of black literature.The Norton Anthology of African American Literature edited by Gates and others promotes the canonization of African American Literature.Focusing on the scope and inclusiveness of this anthology,its relationship with the vernacular tradition and Gates’strategy of canon construction,this paper discusses the value and significance of The Norton Anthology of African American Literature in the canon construction of African American literature.
