摘　　要：需求规律是市场机制能够有效配置资源的理论基础。然而,经济学领域至今仍在争议需求规律是否有例外,即吉芬商品是否存在。大多数学者认为存在吉芬商品,并试图用实例或从理论上证明存在吉芬商品。有些学者认为吉芬商品并不存在,但没有给出可信的证明。为此,在澄清吉芬商品概念的基础上,指出关于吉芬商品概念的一些误解,并在逻辑推理后证明不存在吉芬商品,还推导了边际替代率递减规律。The law of demand is the theoretical basis for the effective allocation of resources by the market mechanism.However,economists are still debating whether there exist Giffen goods,an exception to the law of demand.Most scholars believe in their existence and try to prove it practically or theorically.Some scholars have no such belief,but can’t give convincing evidence.This paper attempts to clarify the concept of Giffen goods,sort out some misunderstandings,and strictly prove its inexistence.This paper also proves the law of diminishing marginal rate of substitution which is generally considered unprovable.
