摘 要:锂离子电池在组装及试验过程中经常要对电芯施加压力,以延长电池循环寿命,但不均衡压力会对电池循环寿命产生负面影响.为了探究不均匀加压对锂离子电池电芯性能的影响,该文设计了一套夹板装置,通过控制电芯的摆放方式模拟均匀和非均匀加压场景.循环性能测试结果表明,不均匀加压会降低电芯的循环稳定性;通过解剖电芯,解释了电芯失效的基本原理,即负极析锂.该文研究了锂离子电芯在受到外界不均衡压力的情况下,电池失效的基本原理,为锂离子电池生产组装及测试提出了改进方向.In the assembly and testing process of lithium-ion battery,it is necessary to apply the cell with pressure to extend the life-time.Nevertheless,unbalanced pressure would have a negative impact on the cycle life.In order to investigate the impact of unbalanced pressure on the performance of lithium-ion battery,a set of splinting devices is designed to simulate the scenarios under balanced and unbalanced pressure by controlling the placement of the cells.The cycling performance test results reveals that unbalanced pressure reduces the cycling stability of the cell.The basic principle of the cell failure is explained by dissecting the cell,which is lithium plating of the anode.This work investigated the basic principle of lithium battery failure when the cell was under unbalanced pressure.It proposes an improvement direction for the production,assembly and testing of lithium-ion batteries.
