儿童文学中“非人”角色姓名翻译研究--以詹纳尔《西游记》英译本为例

摘　　要：《西游记》在中国文学作品中地位斐然,其中四百多个富有诗意且童趣满满的“非人”角色姓名尤其引人注目。詹纳尔的《西游记》全译本在“非人”角色姓名的翻译上凸显了泛灵性、童趣性,以及对儿童读者特别关注的人文性,符合西方儿童读者的心理认知。该译本的多次再版佐证了詹纳尔对此类角色姓名的英译处理非常成功,为西方儿童读者理解且接受这部中国文学作品提供了很大的可能性。Journey to the West plays a prominent role in contemporary Chinese children′s literature.Especially the names of more than 400"non-human"characters are full of poetry and children′s interest.The full translation version of Jenner W.J.Ft highlights the animism,childlike interest and humanism of paying special attention to child readers in the translation of"non-human"character names,which fits with the psychological cognition of western child readers.The repeated reprints of the translation version prove that Jenner′s English translation of such names is very successful,which provides a great possibility for western child readers to understand and accept this classic Chinese literary work.
